707 UK National Championships

15th - 18 August

PEYC welcome the 707 Class for their annual National Championships in 2024. We look forward to seeing you in August and let us know if you have any questions through the Contact section of our website using the 2024 707 Nationals category. 

HOW TO ENTER

Full event details are shown in the Notice of Race below. To enter you must have an account on our website, if not please create one using the link at the bottom of this page. Once logged in you can enter and pay for the event. 

VISTOR BERTHING AND LIFT IN/OUT

Cost is £170 per boat for Launch / Recovery plus 4 nights berthing, any extra nights requested outwith these dates will be charged at the normal advertised rates.

The boat owner is required to register and complete an application form attached to this page ASAP and payment should be received no later than Wednesday 31st July 2024.

If a boat owner decides to sublet their boat for the regatta all berthing / craning must be booked and paid/invoiced through the office by the owner only and not by the third party. They will have to sort payment out between themselves which does not involve the Marina Office.

Caravans are not allowed on site for any event but we will allow camper vans provided they are booked in advance by Wednesday 31st July.

CATERING AND SOCIAL EVENTS

  • Tea and coffee will be available throughout the event at £1 in an honesty box. 
  • Breakfast rolls will be available from 7am - single roll £4, double £4.50
  • Pre-bookable lunches will be available for £7 including a hearty sandwich, protein bar and bottle of water.

We will be using the club website for social event and catering bookings - to book you will need an account, once logged in you will see the ticket options available at the bottom of this page.

Thu 15th August

-  Hog roast on the spit with all the trimmings and salads. All club members are welcome to attend and please invite friends and family. 150 ticket limit at £15 per person.

Fri 16th August

-  Curry at the clubhouse, 120 tickets at £15 per person. All club members are welcome to attend and please invite friends and family. Followed by the 707 Class AGM then drinks and live entertainment in the clubhouse.

Sat 17th August

- Buffet dinner at Scotts Outboard restaurant at Port Edgar. 6 pm for 6.30 pm 3 course meal. Cost is £30 per person. menu options shown in a PDF below with vegan and vegetarian options available. Only seating for 80 so please book early to avoid disappointment. Dress smart casual. 

Followed by a live music in the PEYC Bar.

Sun 18th August

- Tea, coffee, cake and snacks available in the clubhouse.

EVENT CLOTHING

MASSAGE THERAPY

To help with all those aches/pains/stiffness and to keep you all on top form, Coast 2 Coast Massage Therapy will be offering Sports Massages for 2hrs after racing on Friday and Saturday this year!
Hopefully the weather will be nice but they will have a gazebo outside the clubhouse just in case

Massage slots will be 20 minutes long and £15 per slot. Cash is preferable but they can take contactless payments too! If you would be interested in getting a massage and want to pre book your slot get in touch at https://www.facebook.com/profi...
