Introduction to Division Three Yacht Racing - Kitiwake Mentored Sessions

These sessions are designed to give club members an introduction to Division One yacht racing aboard the 25 ft Sadler Kittiwake

Participants can book up to 6 sessions. After that, we encourage you to explore crewing on other yachts, hiring a 707 to race yourself with other you have met, or simply take it as a fun and memorable experience that may inspire you to try other new things. Limiting the number of sessions helps keep the opportunity open and accessible to more members, as demand has been high.

Sessions will be released up to two weeks in advance to help manage bookings and ensure a diverse range of participants gets the chance to sail

Kittiwake will be skippered and crewed by experienced racers who will provide one-on-one, hands-on guidance in Division Three racing. Its always fun, often tiring, and comes with a warning—yacht racing can be highly addictive!

Meeting Point: Meet at the clubhouse at 6:00 PM for a pre race briefing, before heading to the boat. 

Note: It's best if you've previously been out for a cruise on Kittiwake, Eurobo,  a similar-sized yacht. Familiarity with basic yacht operations will help you get the most out of your racing experience.
