Cruise in Company to Inchcolm Island

Our yacht cruise this month is to Inchcolm Island, which is an interesting trip. It will be led by Eurobo but we are keen to have lots of boats attend. Cruisers, racers and hirers are all welcome to join in. Boats should anchor on the inside of the island in the small bay to the west of the slipway, as shown on charts/ pilot books.

Departure Port Edgar at 11am.

Time ashore at Inchcolm approx 1pm to 3pm.

Our club RIB will attend and will ferry crews ashore.

It is only 5 NM to Inchcolm but we will have a modest tide against us both ways. High Water is 3pm

There is a small office and toilets on the island.  There is no charge for just sitting on the rocky foreshore, but there is a small charge for wandering about the island which I'm sure almost everybody will do. The charge is £7.50 for adults, £6 for over 60s, and free for Historic Scotland members who should bring their cards. Payment should be made at the small office.

Eurobo and Kittiwake will join the cruise on mentored sessions, bookable via the website calendar. The two 707s are available to hire by accredited members for the day.
