Yacht Cruise: Destination Aberdour
This is a drying harbour accessible 2-3 hours either side of high water, depending on the draught of your boat. There is space along the harbour wall with room to raft up, depending on the number of boats. It is also possible to anchor outside near the Aberdour Boat Club moorings.
High Water is 5 minutes before HW Leith and 0.5m higher (14.34, 5.7m)
HW Rosyth is 14.40, 5.4m
Approaching from the main shipping channel, aim for the derelict pier near Hawkcraig and then for the end of the harbour wall, passing between the old pier and the club moorings.
EuRoBo will be taking part in this club cruise as a mentored cruise. If you are booked to sail on EuRoBo the plan will be to meet at the clubhouse at 10:30. You can expect to be back by 16:30. Remember you need to be over 18 to join a mentored cruise and for this trip you will also want to remember to bring a packed lunch!
