Cruise Evening

The cruising sessions are relaxing evenings on the water. 

Skippers generously offer places on their own boats to club members, sharing their knowledge, experience, and love of sailing with like minded folk. 

All attendees will meet at the clubhouse at 6.30pm, and boat / crew allocation will take place on the day. We try to ensure that skippers have sufficient experienced crew on board, and that new members get the opportunity to get out on the water. Cruising sessions tend to be quite relaxed, either up or down river as the tides allow. It is an opportunity to have a chat, take in the sights, and practice new skills.

You will need to bring warm clothing, even in summer! Also bring a waterproof and windproof jacket, trainers or non-marking shoes, and gloves / hat. If you have a lifejacket please bring it with you and if you are a regular attendee it is a good idea to get your own. 

You will meet your skipper in the Clubhouse and make your way down to the boats. These are not formal tuition session, so should not be confused with sail training!"

The booking link will go 'live' the Sunday prior to the cruise taking place. 

The booking window will close at 5pm on Wednesday.
