PEYC Winter Talks (and RFYC)

We have a number of winter talks coming up:

• Thursday March 19th: RNLI members will run a water safety presentation and a life jacket clinic.
• Wednesday April 1st: Ramsey Leuchars on the topic of yacht preparation and rig tuning
• Thursday April 2nd: Culross Pier Restoration Project members will talk about the project to rebuild the ancient harbour.
• Wednesday April 15th: Conall Bryce will give a racing rule seminar
• Wednesday April 29th: Margaret Tait and Jim Scott on  being a club race officer.

All talks 7:00, the bar will be open and guests are welcome. 

Royal Forth Yacht Club at Granton also have a programme of talks, to which PEYC members are invited. 

• Wednesday 25th Feb - Alex Gunnarson , a younger member , talking about a Scottish passage
• Friday March 6th: Calanach Finlayson on double-handed offshore racing.
• Wednesday March 11th, Lois Flounders, a younger member, will give a talk on West Coast sea life & fisheries.
• Wednesday 25th March - Ian Abson  A  talk about what sounds like an exciting life in the RAF flying jet fighters.
• Wednesday April 15th: Sail GP 101: An insider's look at the technology of 50 ft foiling catamarans and a behind the  scenes insight into SailGP.

All talks 7:00 and the bar will be open
