Photo Competition

For many years, Ian Cameron ran a photography competition for members at this time of year. This year, we will continue the tradition in his memory.

The guidelines are very loose. Pictures can be of a boat; taken from a boat or generally feature boats and water.  You don't have to travel to exotic locations for your pictures: it has been won in the past by a pin sharp, tightly composed image taken between the bridges. If you'd like to enter, please email a maximum of ten pictures as high res jpegs to  peycphoto@gmail.com Please add the files onto your email as attachments, don't paste them into the body text.  I will collate them in a public album and prevail on our judges to deliver a verdict in time for the AGM.

A few points to make my task a bit easier:

• Give your images titles please, not the file name assigned by the camera. It makes it much easier to keep track of them.
• They will initially be displayed anonymously and submitted anonymously to the judges.
• You must be a club member to compete in this club competition.
• The images must be your own work.
• The images must be taken in the last year.
• The closing date will be Friday 9th January 2026.
