RNLI Presentation March 2026

Club members were given a very informative presentation about the work of the RNLI locally and nationally. Topics covered wer:
- widening the understanding of how important annual lifejacket checks are, and how to do this correctly
- sharing awareness and understanding on 'Float to Live'
- encouraging every skipper to have a MOB plan bespoke to their boat, crewing and type/location of sailing
- to encourage skippers and crew to reflect on further training to improve their water safety at sea
- and to reflect on the sea-worthiness of their vessels and the water safety/comms kit that could be carried on board.
