Winter Talks: Tall Ships Jan 23rd

The next in the series of winter talks is scheduled for  Thursday January 23rd at 7PM.

Emma Wadee is the Project Manager for Tall Ships Races Aberdeen 2025, and will share  details of the planning behind The Tall Ships Races Aberdeen 2025 which returns to the city for the first time in nearly 30 years from 19-22 July 2025. It is Europe's largest free family event and is expected to draw 50 Tall Ships from across the globe as well as attract 400,000 visits to the city.

 Max Carcas participated in the Tall Ships race in 1987 from Germany to Sweden and can share some photos and memories from the experience. He will also talk about innovation in marine renewables - wave, tidal and offshore wind as these are all sectors.
